With over 10 years’ experience in personal training, I design innovative programs that deliver results and improve my clients’ quality of life. My approach to training is uniquely holistic – I am all about balance, resilience and living a healthy life on your own terms.
My zest for athleticism began at a very young age. A native of Texas, I spent hours outdoors and pursued gymnastics, soccer and basketball. Taking ballet, jazz and tap gave me a playful platform to develop my motor skills, nurturing my physicality and paving the way for a future in professional dance and fitness.
After moving to NYC in 2008, I began working at Equinox, training alongside a team of top producing personal trainers. Five years ago, I launched Jax Theory [formerly UrbanFitNY], a personal training and wellness company focused on the mind and body, promoting longevity through movement. My experience with dance, Pilates, yoga, weight-lifting and injury rehabilitation has inspired me to develop a unique method of training that works for all levels of fitness and is applicable to any goal.
